A new year with new resolutions, hope and aspirations.

Yeah, its like in the wee hours of the day and what the hell m i doing here with a 12 noon class. I think i just need to rant at this hour. 2011, this isnt the best of mood to start the year, in fact it has been like that for the past 2 years. I reckon it is the pre-exams anxiety. Just that this year, it feels that i have fallen deep underground. And i am finding it really really hard to gain footing. i really don know what m i doing. I should have more time this time round but didnt feel that way. Why ? Why ? Why ? I am really curious why. And this time i am really not joking, I am really at the brim of giving up. (how silly, i know) but yeah!

First class of 2011, looking forward actually. I think i should try, jus try (like the last straw), this time round to turn negativity to positivity! JIAYOU LAWSONN! =) Night

Christmas is drawing near. Its the season of sharing and giving. This month would probably be the most joyous month in the calender. In the light of that， it seem to be an impeccable time to somewhat conclude my 2010.

What i can say is that this year has been really kind to me. Every thing seems to be smooth sailing. No fuss, havoc. Which i am very thankful for. Thank you! If I've a chance, I would take this chance to think about what i am sorry for. Many a time (year) in my new year resolutions, i would yearn to perform better for the upcoming. More often than not, I realize there are things that i should have done better.

2 principal lesson that i learnt this year. And it somewhat feels like a drug that was administered into me. One, we were taught values in life. One of them is to be nice to person and in return, you will be treated likewise. Yeah, it is true. The crux of the matter is not to be nice all the time but you should learn how to be nasty in certain situations. There isn't any benefits in return for going that extra mile. Two, honesty and being earnest doesn't work all the time. Believe me it doesn't. There are implications that would surprise you and catch you unaware. Oh well, lets just keep things short. Having go through this paragraph at one glance, it may seem that i am trying to turn things negatively. Or some may think, here Lawsonn goes again, he is having an emotional night yet again. Seriously, all these do happen in reality. The world would be better place if it doesn't happen.

And another thing. Sense of urgency, this intrinsic feeling that has been lacking since the commencement of school! I seriously have no idea why i not have the energy to raft my engine! Sigh.

I M Possible

Never have i thought. Actually there was once, where i wished that "this" would happen. To me personally, it was rather IMPOSSIBLE to attain "this". Hence, i didn't pin any hope on that. Back then, i wondered to myself "Wouldn't it be nice if "this" happened".

"This" actually turned into reality. Euphoric! I did it! I cant describe the sense of accomplishment. Results, it was part of "this". As a matter of fact, just by glancing through my past entries, one would know that i was clearly pessimistic when it comes to my results. Honestly, this year wasn't an easy one having to juggle work and study. To many, having to do a sedentary work seems to be a walk in the park or a waste of time. BUT! This privilege doesn't happen in my department. I'm always busy. And after which, I have to rush to school for night lessons. Thinking back, its very scary. Thankfully, results turn out to be better than i expected.

Even though, with sight that next year wouldn't be an easy one (in fact, a harder year), it feels empowering after ripping what i have sowed this year. On the hind side, the effort to study and to repeat this tireless cycle once more, simply puts me again. Oh well, then again. With a little faith (it really makes a difference), I M POSSIBLE! =)

Chanced upon a really good book recently. House Rules by Jodi Picoult. Purchased it in fact. It depicts a teenage boy who is autistic and how he and his family get by each day. Being autistic( a strong sense of rigidness to changes), the story unfolds how he face the death of his tutor. Seriously, this book amaze me and i take my hats off for the wonderful language that was written by the author. I have yet to complete the book, two thirds away from completion. Am taking my time.

Then again.I was never once a book reader. In my life, i have completed 1 book! Just 1 book, The Da Vinci Code. What an irony.

Another interesting point to highlight, Jodi Picoult has written another wonderful story entitled "My Sister's Keeper". I guess most of you would have heard it from the cinemas, else read the book. GOSH! I didnt read the book but the movie version was speechless! Googled the movie and learnt that there were changes made the ending. I feel that somewhat the original version suits the title more than the movie version. For those who have not seen this movie, i strongly recommend this show. It is different from the normal blond cheesy movie, it has a meaning behind it, tells you the value in life and in kinship. I am also pretty sure that you will get some learning points in life from that movie. Personally, i did, wonderful =)

今晚，在机缘巧合之下，让我领悟到了一件事。人，往往把人事件当成很平常的事，但事实并非如此。事实以幻想现况出极大地对比。这也反复提醒了我，不要以为事情是礼所当然的。我抱着一份很感恩的心，也没什么可瞒愿的。

前一阵子，告诉自己因为在学业上放足了十二个月的努力、汗和泪水，趁这个机会要好好休息。现在机会来了，却有一股失去方向而茫然的感觉。天啊天，人就是这么犯贱！就在这停笔，如果心血来操才blog吧！

Exams got the better of me this week. Never attempted having 2 papers in a day. Of which, one pays heavy emphasize on calculations while the other emphasizes on the theory. Last night was a true mad rush. It extended even til today. Due to the massive amount of information retained in my capacity-constrain brain, it feels as though the latter is somewhere missing. This inevitably questioned my ability and my confidence. T

There were moments in the exams where i had to pause for a good 10 mins and to recount a simple formula. The only consolation was, the papers were do-able. I know, this should call for jubilation and celebration. I smiled, felt jubilant and light, for a split second that is. I am not trying to be pessimistic, i will tip over to optimism if i have to. But these papers are a late down. i will survive, i will move on. actually its a huge relief that this hurdle this over.

By expressing my heartfelt gratitude to those people who wished me well for the exams and for my mental well-being(not that i am crazy but when i am in my "meltdowns"). Am very thankful for the confidence in me (i still think it is HIGHLY OVERRATED). Thank you

strange as life may turn out to be. i was going through a group on facebook. went thru the photos and videos, certainly brought back a lot of memories. The trip in 2005 then the trip last year that i wasn't present. The video footage taken last year really got me grinning to myself. I miss them, him, her and it.

yay! exams, like what? 2 days from now? what the F*** am i doing here blogging at this hour? i myself do not know why. i am not done studying yet, that's for sure! FML!

A quiet night, with the song "yi han" playing in the background, visually looking at the videos and pics, psychologically thinking about exams. HOW CAN ONE NOT GET EMO? How can you be a nonchalant person in this scenario??? Then again, if you are not, how happy can you get when you are heading towards a somewhat bleak future?

Hell hole breaks loss 20th this month and reality will crash in somewhere in September~ WooHoo~ T.T

To be Thankful

This weeks somewhat doesn't feel fulfilling at all. For no rhyme or reason, i just don't feel good doing what i am doing. Weird~ Its not that i am all emo and experience a PMS moment like a freaking pussy, this time round its different. And, YES.. I guess the term 'EMO MONSTER' has already been imprinted all over my face. As i said! OUT OF THE NUTSHELL! i am done with being emo! Conquered that already.

Actually, to be exact, the emo monster has taken a back seat, now the WORRYING ARIES takes over the throne... Without a doubt, studies is still a bitch. I still do not have the panic attack to "motivate" myself to spur like one mad mugger... That's freaking worrying. I should be thankful to have friends to push me, consistently reminding me to study and stop slacking. Most importantly, to listen to my NEVER ENDING RANT. =p Thank you Net and XN! =)

I may rant to most people that i would like to ORD asap. Then again, if i positioned myself as an ORD personnel, i think i will start missing those good o'days and the people around. Strange isnt it? Sigh, Life, it is that way. *Shake head* I will miss the laughs, the rubbish, the lunch that we had, the kind treatment of the mdms, the bitching, the complaining, the list simply goes on and on. This actually hit on me when my replacement came this week. Feels very different to have someone understudying you. You feel so crippled doing your work, coz someone is constantly looking at you work! Oh wells... I seriously am in no position to complain since i am like the first ever in that position to get an early replacement. So, I am thankful for my mdm and my lunch KAKIs.

I guess the least i can do out these ginormous gestures is to be thankful and treasure these moments. THANK YOU =)

Arggggg... that "thing" has happened once again today... had to put out the fire via the phone. that "thing" seem to be my nemesis la! seriously i am going to clear that "thing" when i return! so have to get that "thing" corrected and rectify the bitch out of you. have to keep my fingers crossed that i will not get as much as compared to today. It is impossible to not receive a call.

Going to school in the day seriously, gives me a different perspective to school once again. feels so close to heart. it actually feels good to go back to school. As opposed to the usual drags that i have for evening class. The atmosphere is entirely different.

anyway, it was a first in my life to actually borrow a freaking textbook from the school lib. To top it off, i actually completed one part of it in the bus! but as the master of procrastination, i actually gave my evening away by not studying. what a contrast. Cant believe myself.

Oh! Since i am on the topic of the bus thing. There is this incident that occurred while i was on my way back home this evening. I was annoyingly interrupted by this ACS boy, he was accompanied by 2 other girl. What annoys me the most was the way he put him across, the actions and his voice and his bitch content. was a total put off. And seriously; it was then, that very moment where i actually realize the actual definition of a BITCH! WTF! that guy whines and bitch worse that a freaking girl. it was to the point where he was entertaining the girls! so the new world order now is to have the guy to bitch to the girls? isnt it the other way right. Freaking GAY!

Back to reality, getting my prelim results for 2 papers tmr. POA and MSM. i will expect to fail my POA, considering that i have only covered half the syllabus. MSM is a letdown, gave away 14 marks for Markov. I know how to do it, just lost the drift of it. I will expect a pass from that paper. Lets see what turns out tmr.

i am 2 hours behind scheduled time, i should start studying~ 30 odd days to my first paper... HUGE SIGH! i feel that i have aged like 10 years in advance or discounted 10 years due to my CONSTANT STATE OF WORRYING.

Living up to Expectations

It was never easy living up to expectations. Throughout my life, expectations were often set, knowingly and unknowingly; some were made explicit while some were implicit. In some way i will strive to aim for it. Mainly because i never liked the feeling of letting someone down. Emotionally, i find it very hard to deal with. Unfortunately, i do not achieve what i aim for most of the time. I could only blame my own laziness and my constant state of procrastination for my own downfall. I could only vividly remember a few moments in my life where i do actually achieve what i wanted.

I guess the only time that i lived up to expectation was in secondary 2. Recollecting back, i don't think i have studied any harder than that. Back then, I was aiming for a pure science class. During mid term, i was still lagging behind. Some where around 75 out of 200 odd students in my cohort. I could remember my parents attended the meet-the-parents session. Seated in the school hall, while the principal was giving his speech, Mom whispered to me "Try your best to work for the pure science class". Somewhat, i did work hard. I studied very hard in fact. Strangely, i do not know where i get the energy and the mental strength to put through. At the end of the year, collected my results, i made it through. 5th in class, 38th in cohort standings. I was actually proud of myself.

Comes Sec 3, i somewhat lost my touch in studying. Everything just seem to work against me. Results were bad. Thankfully, i pulled through O levels. Then again, studying was never my thing, i was never study material. I wished i was a little smarter, equipped with a better brain to remember what i have to. At certain point, i even question my own Intel and wonder why am i so dumb. Like no kidding.

Exactly a year ago, i have made a decision to study a part time degree. A degree course that existing students deem as a difficult foreign degree and course to study. Nevertheless, i went ahead with the registration. I told myself to plunge into it and just study. Bridging classes started off may 2009. My first lesson was pure joy, everything was so familiar, reminiscing my poly days, i told myself then; " I did the right choice and i am thankful i started this year".

I went through bridging and jumped straight into 2nd year uni with open arms. From then til now, it has almost been a year. I am strangling through, so much so that it almost feels like Deja Vu from my Sec 3 days. Exams are not exactly very far away and i still couldn't find the energy and the sense of urgency to mug. This is very bad. I wouldn't want to enter the exam hall and sit through the paper not knowing how to do it! It will freaking kill me! The thought of it just makes me so lousy. Did i make the wrong decision a year ago? What about being right to start last year? sigh

I recalled Harjeet mentioning that Aries likes to think a lot. Think too much. I guess she might be right, but not totally. Lynette will totally agree to what i am going say next. I was thinking too much the night before my TP, i was practically worried of everything under the sun! Now, its the freaking exams that i am worried about. Trust me, i have sighed much more than i did for my TP. Like a god-zillion times more! This is like a symptom that doesn't have a remedy to. I have been so emotional these couple of weeks with no apparent reason. Probably, the stress. Than again, it actually just dawned on me that being emotional or stressed isn't the panacea to the problem! So, EMBRACE IT!

I hope that i will not exhaust myself before my finals. Neither do i want to crack under pressure and i will not let that happen. I am caught in between, am i too hard on myself and i should take a break or i should pull up my socks and kick some ass like how i did in sec 2. OK, I am in denial, LIKE WHAT THE HELL! DIDN'T STUDY STILL DARE SAY HARD ON MYSELF! LAWSONN! YOU ARE ONE DIFFICULT PERSON!

Oh wells, the only thing that can actually perk me up is the mid year trip to Genting or Macau and my little known humanitarian work that i would like to do at the end of the year. I hope ranting here will help me to knock some sense into me. IT BETTER WORK! TMR IS A BETTER DAY =)

i have not blogged for over a year. didnt wan to change the link. far too lazy for that. i wanted to give up blogging. but i wanted to spit something out of my chest. facebook seem to be the platform but it didnt seem right when i was typing it. guess this is still the best place then. which explains my return.

i was speaking to someone. and that certain one made me realise that being able to answer to yourself highly surpass than being answerable to other. in various points in life, i have to remind myself to be responsible and to be answerable to that certain someone in each of the scenario.thru this chat, it has actually dawned on me that why do i even bother whether i am answerable to anyone? i should be answerable to myself. its me who have control over my own life.

taking in the positive point and waive off the negative. this is where discretion takes place. i should only be answerable to those who are of value and weight to me. waive off those which adds pressure and impedes in the performance of the outcome.

life is sooo hard nowadays where being tired and bothered basically sums it all up. school was a bitch. work no better. being consistent is a slut! tired tired tired.

this post is actually a very personal one. have yet to confide this to anyone yet. and i have no intention in doing so. for someone who reads to this point of the post and after sooo long after i re-blogged again, it might jus mean that u are someone who care and bother about me. or rather u jus chanced upon.

life and maturing has really taken its toes. points where people feel that oneself could nv understand or know the change in him/her. but i have actually realized that i have started to bottle things up. not opening up and confiding to people anymore. one may wan you to open up to them in the name of being close to you. but on the other hand, the person might just be judgmental towards u.

i have never held my guards up so high before. what m i turning into! i feel mutated.

i was jus running thru my old entries, they are like 8 mths old! Many things have changed since then. A lot of things have changed from then and now.

First of all, I have POP from the stay in camps. like finally! survived thru my 16 weeks. thinking back, i really don know how i did that... plus, I have jus hit the 5 mths in my new dept... The ppl there are great, great friends, Mdms. But the only thing is that i have a sensitive big boss.. like damn... life is going to be hell from now til i ord..

next, right... i am old, like legally old... 21 already.... really had a blast on that day. thankful for those who made time out to attend, planned the whole thing and stuff like that... really glad that they have made the effort in the surprise..

oh... i have started sch, jumped or dived into it... will have to juggle both at the same time...

i also realize that i can really rumble random things.. smt different from the past...

you know, sometimes the words FRIENDS can be a tough bitch to handle...
i always ask... friends are for:
1) to compare and c who is doing better?
2) to use/ accompany when u have a mutual use?
3) someone to spill out your worries or someone u can confide to?
4) to show u the lukewarm attitude whenever you like?

hmmm... as i grow older, i tend to look at things at a wider prospective. thinking and worrying about things will not help u solve the problem. At the same time, doing nothing will not bring u any further. BUT then again, sometimes it iz best to keep num, if not damage would be inflicked if you talk too much and nothing can be done to reverse it. Learning how to heck care and mind your own business might jus be the way to do things.

being lethal is a way that i would seriously choose 1 day... shall be nice and jus speak my mind... I NEED A BREAK.. LIKE NO KIDDING

4 weeks down! pretty much 12 more weeks left!!! it always the case that u will be eager to come out but hate going in.. it was intended to be 3 months but fear of extensions have lingered ard... rather sure that it is that way... arghhh... oh ya... couz will have joining the club come jan... haha... 2 mangkok (read as mang-ko) during CNY! how interesting! alright back to the routine life for a couple more days! and i can smell freedom again! break are EXTREMELY VITAL or rather FREEDOM!

11 days and counting.. wow... National service here i come... i guess tension has already start mounting... excited? ok la.. scared? ok la.. sian? hell yeah! hahhaha kinda regret having a week off early from my temp job... the days where lazing around aint helpful at all.. actually, its not that i don have things to do... its jus me being lazy... i have tons of things to see into! trust me.. there isnt one thing that i have prepared to NS... let alone handing up my timesheet for work! HOW sian can it get!

plus! my neck is killing me after the swim i had a couple of days ago... it has seriously affected my sleep and i would have frequent headaches the moment i roll out of bed.. hahahah all the more to add on lawsonn's list of sian! oh! did i ever mention how embracing life can get when u are about to serve the country?

speaking of which, i was abruptly awaken a call by esther.. somethings about work... from then on cant get back to sleep... ( something that i dont adore at all).. got up and stoned on the couch.... and felt that i seriously missed my working days back in maybank... found ppl to be ard... bitching and lunches are like the best thing ever...

wooow, have been months since i laid a finger on this template on my IE... it has been moons ago since i slacked at home... months ago since i started work at maybank... and 5 days left before i leave... and NS is just inching in too quickly... to be exact 24 more freaking days!

many might have imagined me in my new peculiar hair style - botak! but as for me? i am totally fine with u (as of this moment) ... thats like the least concern out of a list! new chapter different challenges! scary...

work was a totally different experience.. have a new prospective to work... on a serious note... work is shyt... ppl is more than wonderful.. lunch is jus like sugar to cakes! nv perfect without them! i willl miss those folks and fellows when i am gone...

now out in the working world with no concerns over academical issue, one astonising fact is that time really do fly... the merciless fact... or rather... something to rejoice about... growing up is moulding in the process...

how about a first time experience of renting a car (a lousy oil sucking car thou)- PERFECTO! have the opportunity to drive my older folks ard... bring them to places that are pretty unearth to reach without a automobile... and also! since when bring folks out was part of irresponsible? so how to express being filial man... freaking pissed me off big time... oh wells... it has been a while since i am up so late... i will head off til then... counting down 24!

i am sooo gonna love the date 4th June.... As some may already know, i have passed my license! finally i have joined the drivers club... Its like finally i can put an end to undying stream of gigs of not getting the license.. And it wasnt easy... Ok.. I am not a strong believer of astronomical horoscope... but being a typical Aries... i am the sort that things a lot.. and that have paid huge price!... i lost my sleep 2 nights before... oh well... i am really glad that i have gotten it and still living in dismay over the fact i got it! YES I GOT !

i am also really glad that my brothers have trust on me. both of them allow me to have an expedition... really very thankful for them. At the same time, thank you for those who have given me good luck msg...

And have you guys ever look at the ugly side of human... i mean... i am sure you guys will have ppl ard you with stick with you for a particular reason... be it good or bad reason, whether its for status or fame... this has not struck me until.. i bumped into XXX and i was thinking y have this friendship has led into such hostile situation. it wasnt until the sec 3 that the gang got closer... and to the closure of that episode of life, the gang spilt for some reasons.. there wasnt any contact after certain happened .... maybe its coz of status that you are trying to obtain in that after-school-activity... oh well.. i have moved on and as a matter of fact... i will raise above and i would like to thank YOU for being part of life.. growing up that is... its jus a spur of emotion at this point... i am fine!!! =)

28/5/2008 - this date marks my last day in Ngee Ann Poly, as a student that is... Graduation that is! very nice to meet the familiar faces again and reminiscing the past was like a sure thing! All thanks to yy and Ap bring us ard before and after grad... kudos to them!!! and there was this moment where me and yy starts to imitate how we use to panic and kan chiong in the car mins before exams.. and kuku YY and brendan will know wat i am talking about.. hmmm... i jus went for work today and i kinda self proclaimed 2 hrs break for lunch and i have been rotting away for the rest of the day... i am sure that, everyone who have been busy before would complain and wish to be free.. zio bo.. but! after experiencing a full day without doing anything! i surrender!!! it sucks! really... i don know why but my mood today was very low... i guess its because i am too free. and i had time to think and reflect... after being prompt by a colleague that she would be taken her TP this coming wed, jus sparked off my emotions... For nuts! i don think i am going to pass my driving... i am not trying to be pessimistic but.. its just the lack of confidence and the pressure and stress (guess little known by many)... that kinda ruin my lunch and dinner... wat a way to lose weight yeah?... aiyo... don know la...听天由命吧！

at the same time, jus youtube-surfing and i chance upon a vid on the SiChun Charity Show by mediacorp... and my heart seriously goes out to those who have suffered or have been adversely affected... what struck me the most was a real footage, parents that lost their twin daughters in this disaster.. gosh.. bad real bad... 这一次的大地震，虽然我没有经历过，但我也能感同身受，希望四川人民平安无事。

The week was rather ok, at least filled with stuff... managed to get a temp job in a foreign bank.... do copy and paste stuff... and its seriously copying and pasting ~~~ geez.... i like the environment there... and as well.. i am usually very excited over the fact that i am working in an office... lol... i think that banks really do have alot of excess money to spare... consider this... a 130 page word doc to be done in 5 working days... so on average... 26 pages in a 8 hrs day... so it is 4 para in 1 hr... i have actually completed the job on the 2nd day... tmr is the third... and i don know what m i going to do! oh ! i so have to mention this! the view from the office was more than superb!!! it oversees keppel bay, able to see sentosa island... and adjacent to it, the office is just wee before the cable car line as cable car centre is jus next to my office tower.. how cool is that! but the thing is that i will go crossed eyed after a while coz i am staring at 2 computer screen at one go...

Another major event that is coming up would be my graduation !!! yeeep!!!! hahaha... am looking for it as i get to wear the graduation robe and i get to see my darzsss! wahahahah... and now think about it... these 2 weeks would be rather life changing for me... cant wait for these 2 weeks to be over... whether the outcome is good or bad... i will just try my best. but really do not have confidence! i think i should be building on that! show thing after soooo long !!! you can de!!!!

oh wells.... on the faithful day of 17th May, there are 2 person who have advance in their years! lol... HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACIA AND SHARON! best wishes for your future endeavors. i was intending to attend both parties.. but due to some reasons i was only able to make it for one... yes... we ended off the party after taking this pic... i kinda like this pic as there are some resemblance in our eyes... and the best of all, its wasnt planned!

ok... in the recent spat of events that i guess many of my peers have been receiving a stream of rejection letter from various Uni... oh wells! i have joined the club! good luck to you guys yet again!

Or rather, with the accumulated years, there is always a listening ear to confide with. i used to stand on this theory firmly. But this isnt the case jus as yet. Maybe Ego, pride and shame has taken over the friendship. Then again reflecting back, What is a friend? Someone to be with when u need company or the ugly fact that , u need someone to expel your boredom? If genuinely treated, then aint we the ones that get you thru the process... oh wells... stop hidding in the nutshell and start embracing whatever u have... pick up from where you have left behind...

oh alright~ the not "long awaited" day has arrived... life really do change at different stages in life eh! i used to start counting down from the month of apr to my birthday. but that was when i was small. after that, i will be telling myself, oh! its coming.. wow... so fast... BUT now! don wan lar! why so fast 1 !... how horrifying can it get when ya tens changes from 1 to 2! so...when the big day arrives, everyone was like!..."WELCOME TO THE BIG WORLD OF THE 20s".. geez! makes no diff in throwing me into a lion's den! Aiya... after being bothered for a while, i was like "heck it lar!", i have got to get going with life and i should embrace it graciously instead!

This year, i am truly blessed with grps of friends around me. I hereby am very glad and appreciative, i would like to say a huge THANK YOU! And of course, not forgetting those who wished me in any ways. Thank you!

This year was kinda filled with surprises! First was Jarren and Caisi who made me a Surprise Chocolate Cake... Geez.. the cake is FREAKING NICE! no kidding man! i am sooo gonna learn doing it! oh wells! SO touched !!! Thank you brother and pui pui!

In the evening, headed for APSS gathering for a joint cele for puay and me...We had a different venue to celebrate this year... We went to the Prawning place in Bishan, alongside we had BBQ as well... Thank you guys for taking time off despite your work and sch schedules... A great kudo to the organizers as well, Lynette and Ah yun. The gathering wouldnt be fun if it wasnt for you guys... Seriously, having a chance to gather with these people really do bring you out to another world, which also makes you throw away your burdens! (erm, only that period of time that is , after that reality jus gives u a harsh slap on the face... yeah if you get wat i mean)wee~ hahaha, a memorable moment of the day would be , when the clock strike 12, they were all wishing me. and i had to like, wait! got 1 more min!... wahahaha! i so have to enjoy the last min of 19th.

hahah, On the faithful day of Apr 19 2008! had dinner at a n Italian resturant, La Forketta, located at Valley Point. The food was WOW! geez but its ex.... the ambiance was wonderful, jus too bad jarren had duty on that day... oh well... got to thank Eng Seng and Lynette for that day! Thanks Brother and Net! After that, was ice cream that serves wonderful, i seriously mean wonderful durian ice cream... drool***.. wahahah...

Had dinner at Changing Appetites with the poly gang... This was the correct timing as i was jus missing sch and those "partners in crime"... hahah ... had a nice time catching up and bitching at the roof terrace, Esplanade. Thanks aju for planning and the surprise of yy lynn and swim (popped out of no where!) plus everyone! wahhaha... Thank you for the present as well! i was really surprise that lynn yy and swim would come as it almost or virtually not known! oh wells...

School has already reopened for those who are returning to sch... for ppl like me... i am still rotting at home.. Last Friday was the last day of bAoc2008. As the ex SCO, jus went back and soak in the mood and reminisced how we were ard 1 year back. It was really nice being able to see those familiar faces that worked hard for an event. Gosh! i really miss those day... Reflecting back on my poly life, baoc was really like the highlight of it... and of course, knowing lifelong friends were another highlight in poly! ok.. the return of the superheroes was the theme for baoc this year...

but its jus that sometimes u reflect back, things would not be saddening if certain things were not known.. the guilt of letting the SCs down is still imprinted in me... yeah.. some may say its 1 year! grow up! forget about it... yeah... In life, we are replicating the actions we do. Wouldn't it be like real boring if there ain't hobbies to spice up your life? To be honest, i am person who use to resent going for a movie and stuff. I will think of a million reason to turn down the idea when my dad offers my family to a weekend show. Or maybe due to age, you start to explore more and u start to grow tired with the things u usually do and u will turn to things that u do less often. SOOo.. I am finding catching a show is a spice in my life now... Weee.... (thats if i have cash to spare~) oh wells... i caught a wonderful love story called "Definitely, Maybe".

Sweet is the word to describe this movie.... i give it a 5 out of 5 stars for this! One thing that i admire the lead character in the show "Will" is that, at least he has got 3 genuine lovers in his life. hhahahhah... shall read more into his character. i strongly urge all of you out there to catch this love story. For those who are soaking in the love river at the moment, go reminisce the love that you are sharing now. In latter, for those who are not, maybe inspiration might come on knocking. Oh ya! while watching the movie, i realize that the lead actor, Ryan Reynold , is freaking tall! 1.89m! how i wish i was that tall. ewww...

WEEeeeEEee... After procrastinating for a period of time, i have decided to change the blog skin and start to blog again. Its not that i do not have anything to blog, but its just that the laziness has been overriding my determination to blog.WAHAHahh.. Ever since the last time i blog, there were a lot of events that happened.

It was about 3 years back, during this period, i was enrolled in Ngee Ann's BA.. and within a flash, i have graduated. I have grew up and made a lot of life long friends. There were sweet and bitter experiences with joy and tears, it was indeed very rewarding. Even thou, i am waiting for my NS enlistment and my graduation now, i am already missing Ngee Ann's life. My days of slacking ever since my last paper, 20 feb, til now! Even a 3 year old can tell that i have been rotting at home for a good 2 months, almost rather. I was looking through the photo from year 1 til now. haha! i was giggling to myself all the time. Fond and KUKU memories!

We had our own version of prom on 29th March, Plaza Singapura, Swensens. It was real nice as i get to see some friend that i have not seen ever since last sem. As usual! pic time! enjoy!

hahaha... O bar didnt satisfy the clubbing temptation, we headed down to club number 3! Rupee Room... hahah! i got to mention! who say Punja clubs are not as fun! even thou i didnt understand those bollywood like song! gosh it got me dancing for a good 1 hour plus! i must admit i was a lit high but the music was power! as usual, went gila with AP, Kome and Aju. Overall, i had a wonderful night out!

Oh ya... Thailand was fun... even though its like a country with a different tongue and its a developing third world country. I must say that Singaporeans are indeed fortunate, hahaha, i mean in terms or conversion rate. Ok! To be honest, in my opinion, Shopping was nice, ain't great, comparatively to HK that is. hahah! BUT! i still return Singapore with a rather full harvest. The food was really authentic, tried the really sour and spicy Tom Yum soup. hahah! And being typical Singaporean, we were very doubtful of the roadside food, we didnt even dare to try there food. But then again! oh crap! Just try lar! To our surprise! WOW! thailand's Pat tai! SHIOK! and see! point number 2 to prove lucky Singaporean with clean food in any corner in Singapore!

A point to add! We had ice creams like nobody's biz! first was swensens, i guess we went there twice. then it was A&W, gosh! petition them back man! i am first to raise both hands! their fried chicken are way way better than those finger lickin good... wahahah! erm... i remember going for loads of ice cream until we were tired of it. Oh well, even it was what we had, it was like a lot for a 4 day trip! This trip was really a trip to relax and to widen my life experience.

It was really nice. it was like 2 years back ever since i went to another country. Followed NIE to china and HK in 2005 and plan for thailand in 2007. It was really a catching up period for me and my brothers. hahah, my usual gang, EngSeng and Jarren, Bao Ming joined us this time, was suppose to follow us to HK but he wasnt able to make it. He was like the gang head for this trip. kudos to him, we got things in a breeze in siam. He gagged along his wife and his mother-in-law. Not forgetting Lynette, joined us in shopping down major Shopping centres in the heard of BKK, Siam This has kinda led to a target of traveling to another country each year. hahaha! i know now its april, but i am already looking out for a country to travel to. what is really dreading me is that i might not be able to take leave and leave singapore whenever i want jus like now! i have to serve the country, so patriotic right (roll eyes).Wahahah! In the shadows of getting fat after sitting in front of my com watching GA, i miraculously grow fat! Chips, chocolate were the main culprit, Thailand trip got me thinner! like yay (claps) yeah... we did a lot of walking and i think i lost bout 3-4 kg.OH YA! after returning to singapore, i had 2 memory stick of pic with me waiting for me to upload.LAWSONN SIM did the foolish thing of the century! i accidentally delete the majority of the pics... there goes the pics where we went gaga in foreign shopping centre over cartoon characters. I did not forgiven myself for a period of time for that. argghhh. i guess the trip was fulfilling, know more about that country, culture and food. I am really looking forward for our next trip, if there is. Below are just some of the pics that i have left! sad!

Recently, i have been on an emotional roller coaster. erm, at as in major mood changes, but yea, those moments where u get saddens and stuff. Hmmm, i think its a change point of life. like the end of a phase and the beginning of the next. Ended my poly life, no longer seeing those familiar faces, familiar places. Memories and i am transiting to the next. And i have next felt life being so bleak, where there are really a lot of uncertainty in life. i am uncertain of my enlistment, how is it going to be like after converting to a military life and having to give up civilian life. What am i going to do after my NS, Uni? i am set on pursuing a degree but where?

sorry for isolating my blog~~~
life is rather systematic and rigid. I guess that would be inevitable for working life.i guess i am starting to adapt and have already adapted to it. this is actually my first attempt on office work. i would say that it is not as taxing as service or sales line. but the concentration and intensity during office hours are tougher in offices. thinking back on how my peers service there attachment, i guess i was fully exploit. wat a term.. working to the fullest. aint a bad or good thing ... the positive side would be learning many different things. i mean everything.

as some may know, m work 5.5 days ... i seriously think that the extra half day is a total bleah! lol ... anyway ... didnt work on saturday this week coz was involved in Vista Musical III.. was a super long day... very tired .. fulfilling ... i slept at 3 am the night before coz i was crazily chasing the show 天涯侠医 managed to finished the show moments ago... freaking nice canto show... and i came to realise that watching HK serials are best to have them in their audios. not the voice over ones..ok! back to the topic ... i woke up at 7 plus coz bao ming had to be in sch early ... count how long i have to wait ok ... reach there at 9 and 5 was the performance ... freaking 8 hrs! lol... the most intensive rehearsing. anyway ... the concert went pretty well and was very fulfilling for me as i managed to play my part well =) ... this might be the last time i may be performing for NVAB ... reminiscing yesterday and the previous concert .. we have came a long way ... well done guys!

oh ya ... having a taste of working life... those time besides working are super precious! i have found out that watching shows after work is a great push to ur dull life ... finished Heroes season 1 some wat before Exams ... superb show! Season 2 is out real soon ... in 2 weeks!

Up coming show that i would love to catch would be 爱情魔法师 and 终极一班. prison break , grey's anatomy and Brothers and sisters are also in my list！

unknowingly, FYP presentation was like 5 days ago... i am really slacking like nobody's business... now its like every is on slack.

Vendecore so called debrief outing was cool. we wanted to have dinner at Manhattan fish.. but it was like fully packed ... we waited for so long and decided to give up coz we had a show in 50 mins time. The best of all , the manager felt bad . and as we all know Manhattan is famous for their service. he gave us a TWO dollar voucher **hit forehead** anyway the thot was cool

we headed to cartel for dinner instead... dinner was fine .. but rushy !!! very rush!

movie was up next , we rushed coz of DISTURBIA ... WAHAHHA!!! this show is not bad .. best of all... CHRISTINE !!! WAHAHAH .. she was so afraid of the show that she broke down crying ! lol... no more horror for her ! no more!!! anyway ! thank you girl for the wallet ! i like it !

NATIONAL DAY
has a total different national day this year ... i didnt catch the parade live and i didnt watch it at home. i watched the parade in the car ... and i manage to see the fireworks , boom bust and the flyover LIVE !!! wahaha ... really very special and different...

band was like fine ... there was a sudden population boom ... with the youth band and the GE students from ntu ... wa! totally different from the last practice...

NV was ok as well... but i didnt like the part on POC ... used to like playing the part... the reason was coz i was playing 2nd ... now went to bass ... and i really cant handle... i am nt like when i was in sec sch... old already ... wahahah .... dying while playing POC ... slacking day....

haven been blogging much as i don have the motivation and i am so lazy to be typing away. this period is probably the most critical period of the semester. come and think about it , this is FYP . so it is actually the critical point of my entire poly life.

the entire vendecores grp went down to great world today. harjeet was mentioning some things about project. final presentation is on tues .. like 5 days from now .. after that we can slack like nobodies business. upon reflecting back , we started off the FYP journey like 4 months ago. seriously i didnt know it was THAT long . wow .. this 4 months have certainly pass fast. it wasnt an easy 4 months with alot of ups and downs.

This journey was certainly fast and memorable. the end of FYP will make the beginning of final exam. and the split of Vendecores. we are all on seperate paths ... Harjeet and vanessa will be going to oiap , vietnam and china respectively. jenn will be going for iap . leaving me and kme behind studying in sch.hmmm, i will miss all the times where we crap like there is no tmr. kome telling me "haha ! harjeet likes me more than u" and stuff like tat.

gsh i am turning into emo elmo, r a emotional bastard ... jus tired... **tend to think alot in the wee nights**....need a rest but i will miss these time ... cherish every moment ...

and yet i am amazed on how selfishness can have an impact on one and others. jus an act of selfish will have a domino effect on many. you simply amaze me! i was jus curious, would thinking maturely be part of life?. able to see people of different characters and learning how to be tactful towards different character. it is certainly a highly profound skill to attain.

Anyway ! before i go ... i would like to wish a few ppl happy birthday during these few days !

i have really learnt alot of things in this 2 mths , i finally understood how jerome and ruby felt last year . with the happy and the unhappy things , i would like to thank every1 to make lawsonn into a better and matured person.

i would really hope that the ever united GY will go on even baoc is over , its seriously very difficult to hold on an OG after 1 year anniversary . as for FM , i am still glad to say that it is still going , the bonds that were foster are still going very well and strong . maybe due to this fact , i might neglect GY ppl .anyway , what i would like to say from the bottom of my heart is : GY-ians , even thou u might not be from FM , but u are from GY ! its still the same! if u are part of GY , u are part of FM ! i do not wan any1 to feel left out due to this .

thinking back my journey as an SCO , the inspiration that i have got as a SC , formed up my team to be SCOs . have i been a good SCO?

kinda mixed feeling on this question . even til now , few weeks after baoc , i am still asking myself this question. maybe i am a nagger on this topic . but seriously , it have left a huge impact in my life , in my poly life .

i am so lost for words now . after 5 weeks of prep and baoc 2007 have ended. GUSTO YAMTAIKOKU has came to an end . we came in 2nd this year , regardless of the results we know that we are the best . i would also like to take the opportunity to thank everyone in gusto yamataikoku. this journey wasnt easy . we manage to pull it off and we did well .

this is the 1st entry of this new year . first of all , i wanna wish all of u happy 2007 !!! may this year be a wonderful year ! i have a feel new year resolutions this year . hmm .. mostly to better myself and to break away from my nut shell . i started off my year "counting" at esplanade(hahah, there wasnt any count down anyway jus fire works!) . its was a nice outing with N194 with brendan and ruby , steph and yy were there to celebrate this joyful festival too !i tell u ! its worse than sardines man ! it was caviar in a tin ! man !! anyway , that place was infested with sooo many BGL. nightmares!

To round off last year , 2006,it was a fruitful year for me , it was the beginning of "legal" year . there were alot of things that i did this year . i could officially buy 4d , my dad will be like"boy , help me go buy 4d , this number , 5 big 5 small".. LOL... and i could have liquor without anyone stopping me (except for my parents and the elders). And i guess the most significant event that happened in 2006 was baoc . we won the title with much hardship and sacrifice. i have have made new friend . they are the best friend u can ever find . bonds were brought closer . friendship bonds were tighten. a grp was form this year as well , my sco grp was formed and we play a part in scoiety now . i find that i have mature alot this year too , think things in a different way now . gee ... thinking good but i better feel young ! As for my musical path , independance is the world to round up the year . as most of u ppl know , i usually play with jarren . as he was the better 1 , i usually follow him and not "really" playing by myself. as he was off for A's this year . i am all alone during that period and have learn alot . i have to also thank mr lester lim for inspiring me to play better. i have also decided on taking my theory exams !

FLAG DAY

Christian Outreach to the Handicapped (COH) will be holding their Flag Day fund raising event this year end. Having missed out on the chance to hold a flag day last year, they are looking forward to receiving a good response this year.

As an independent, inter-denominational Christian organization, their expenses are funded mostly from donations from the public. And all these are incurred to run a day activity centre for people aged 16 and above, diagnosed with Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, autism and/or multiple disabilities. They serve all patients regardless of their racial, religion andfinancial backgrounds.

it was knowing singapore better on the 2nd dec ... i was fun and the organisers have done a great job ...althou i am not a christian but i joined brendan and ruby's cell grp activity . brendan was our facilitator . i had my first on eating smelly tofu ! oh gosh ! it stinks la .. i didnt like it all ... jerome puke after his bite .. haha that smell stinks !

upon reaching the final point at viviovity we tot that we were the last and we came up 2nd ! wahahha.... the prize for it was 30 bucks haagen daaz voucher !!! tragic things do happen at times ...hhaha , and i did happen . ruby dropped the voucher into this hole while playing with it ... Was back from 2 two day camp trial for bamp ... its was real tiring but it was fun .. haha .. before the camp started some of us headed to bukit timah market for dinner . when we were back to sch .. we played black magic.. i watched superstar jus now .. and smt hit me ... i was impressed with some of the singer with their high singing standards and disgusted by some other with their singing ... i didnt manage to catch the ladies round .. thats why i am looking forward for the result show at 1130 later .. overall ... i am shocked with high standards of the superstars this season ..

oh ya .. i guess most of u have already seen the MV of the 24 superstars singing a medley of JJ songs .. i am totally into that song la ! partly coz i like JJ songs but the most impt thing is that the singing was WOW !!! wow .. have not been attending much SCO outing ... when out yesterday for movie at the new cathay complex ... it was my first time watching a movie there .. we caught u me and dupree ... quite nice a show .. i find the show is best suited for couples .. if i am not worng... there were about 10 of us ... rongde , amelia , jieping , audris , mori , winson, rene , daisy, roxanne and me .
after the movie .. we had dinner at PS, wee ,shao , xiao xuan AND Christina(forgot bout her...opps =X)joined us for dinner ... and soon after we left off to the arcade ... hahah ... spent alot of time and money in there ... as a picture speaks a thousand words ...

oh yeah !!宫－野蛮王妃 have started !!! yay yay ... was anticipating this show for a while ... coz yy said that it was nice... caught the first episode ... haha .. the show was different ... if u are expecting the show to be like 大长今 then u are totally wrong !!! ... i guess this show is presented in a lighter way ... there are some funny point in the show .. enjoying my weekends 7 pm now ...

gonna met up with van and caleb tomor ... looking forward to it .. coz i am BORED at home .. got nothing to do .. i even resorted to playing SIM CITY 3000... funny yeah ... too bored lah !!! i finally have a chance to go out !!! yay !!!! LOL(lame....)

ok ... althou mid autumn festival is over on fridae... haha... i still feeling like eating mooncake ... gosh .. haha .. anyway .. went to this shop in amk central ... so happen that they are having half price there ...wow ... i bought my fav ... snowskin ... hmmm ... haha

anyway ... taught my sister math today ... nearly fainted ... amazed by her ... exams on tue and still don know how to do simple things... i was telling my mom ...if she is able to do well in this exams ... i will be luffing my heads off man ... anyway ... round 2 of teaching will be tomor ... goody luck ... LOL...

haha ... due to some thing that happened jus now .. i suddenly think that life is really like a kite .. u pull too hard .. the line will snap ... then u let go too much .. the kite will not fly as high ...doing things in moderation is difficult ... striking the balance is nv easy but the attempt to try shall be keep in mind all the time ... KEEPING COOL TOO!!!...i suddenly sound like some great ppl talking sensible stuff like that ... LOL...
